Aims

These aims will guide our practice and our decisions as we take forward plans to improve the quality of education we provide for the students of Eyemouth High School and the community we serve.

Eyemouth High School is committed to achieving success for all learners.

We will maintain an environment that encourages an active, healthy and environmentally sustainable lifestyle and where all feel safe and well cared for.

We will provide opportunities through our curriculum – both through planned in-school and planned out-of-school experiences – to help our young people develop as:

  • Successful learners and;
  • Effective contributors and;
  • Responsible citizens and;
  • Confident individuals.

We will look for the very best in learning and teaching consistently across the school to ensure:

  • Progress for all;
  • Achievement for all;
  • The highest possible standards of attainment for all.

In pursuing these aims over the next three years, we will make it a priority to:
