Expressive Arts

We aim to provide as much extra support as and when our students need with the expectation that they take up some of the support that is on offer at this important time.

MUSIC:  By individual arrangement with Mr Sanderson

ART:  Monday and Tuesday after school

DRAMA:  There are time slots available Mon-Wed lunchtimes and after school for practical rehearsals

Some study materials can be found on the website under the relevant headings, however, we are using the IPAD's as much as possible to create study tools that we hope the students find relevant and engaging.  Posts to 'Teams' is a good place to find any up-dates on study tasks or signposting to relevant website support.

Our aim is to inspire a curiosity in learning and passion for the Arts through a wide and varied curriculum.  We also strive to provide students with a range of opportunities outside of the curriculum through various trips to galleries and theatres as well as inviting in professionals from the creative industries to work alongside our students or deliver workshops relevant to their coursework.

Our Expressive Arts curriculum area includes; Art and Design, Photography,  Drama, Music and Music Technology.

‚ÄčThe inspiration and power of the arts play a vital role in enabling our children and young people to enhance their creative talent and develop their artistic skills.
